Creative Economy Plan (CEP)
The idea of a statewide Creative Economy Plan for New York was first presented by Creatives Rebuild New York in 2025. It has since become an initiative of VCNY shared process to articulate a creative economy framework for NYS. This initiative is:
- A way to align economic, cultural, labor, and regional perspectives
- An opportunity to define common objectives, language, and indicators
- A platform for collaboration across institutional boundaries
